Cococucine were asked to design a functional and visually stunning kitchen for a brand new 4200 sq. ft. six bedroom detached house in Rickmansworth for a highly experienced developer of distinctive homes. The kitchen therefore had to have a positive effect on the eventual marketing of the property.
Cococucine proposed a three section solution with tall units recessed flush into the rear wall of the kitchen area. These tall units incorporated a bank of Miele refrigeration, alongside a cooking centre comprising two Miele ovens, combi microwave oven, steam oven, warming drawer and a coffee centre.
A further area comprising base cabinets with Corian worktop and a Blanco 550mm undermounted stainless steel sink with a separate Zip hot water tap was located on the adjoining wall with a range of wall unit storage. The huge 3.6 metre long island with Miele induction hob and wok burner completed the kitchen area with a Siemens recessed ceiling extractor over.
Finally, on the opposite side of the dining area, Cococucine installed a series of wall hung wood veneer storage cabinets with a back painted glass worktop.
The overall result, with cabinets in a combination of heat treated wood veneer and ecru matt lacquer combined with worktops in 24mm and 80mm Corian Antartica forms a stunning food preparation and entertaining area in this impressive high specification family home seamlessly linking the functional area of the kitchen to the adjacent social areas with the beautiful breakfast bar seating.
